Embrace is a non-profit making, youth-led organisation based in London fostering effective and practical youth empowerment through holistic national and international placement schemes. Our staff consists of qualified professionals as well as volunteers. This work started with Embrace Unlimited - a small volunteer group in 2000 and since October 2004 we operate as a non-profit making, limited company.
Embrace currently promotes environmental, media, renewable energy projects and we are actively contributing to a variety of local, national and international partnership projects with a variety of partners from industry and commerce, the Third Sector (charities and non-profits) as well as working with various governmental and non-governmental institutions.
Embrace is an organisation that fosters the LifeDreams of young adults with fewer opportunities through holistic placement programmes. That means opportunities for young people to gain work experience in combination with life and self-management skills.
LifeDreams are individual targets and strategies with regards to professional and personal aims and objectives that will contribute to a positive, meaningful life experience of the participants through integration in the labour market. The main focus of all our national and international projects is real-life inclusion. This means all projects have been developed, planned and are delivered with young people.
